Memorandum of Understanding for Church Planters

At 23 Project, we partner with church planters for the advancement of the gospel. This is accomplished through prayer, funding and support.

23 Project will:

Pray

  • Our prayer team will be joining you – praying for your family and your church plant. As you forward prayer requests to us, we will forward these to our prayer team.

Fund

  • 75K over three years
    (5k of funds to be set aside annually for a family vacation)

Support

  • Provide an initial retreat for recipient partners
  • Annual access to a mountain retreat in North Carolina for one week. This can be used for a family vacation
  • Coaching provided by 23 Project

Church Planter Recipient will:

  • Use funds to further the mission of the church plant
  • Set aside $5K per year, for 3 years, for family vacation
  • Commit to coaching sessions with 23 Project
  • Attend initial retreat for recipient partners
  • Agree to maintain anonymity of the Board of Directors of 23 Project
  • Designate at least $1,000 per year to support other 23 Project funded churches during three year partnership
  • Be listed on 23 Project website as a Church Planter recipient
  • Complete quarterly updates prior to the requested deadlines
  • Schedule Brian Lowe to preach at least once at your church plant while funding is being received (at 23 Project’s expense)
  • Establish an Advisory Team of at least three men, plus the lead planting pastor. The Advisory Team shall be formed and meeting dates set before funding begins. If elder oversight is already provided by a sending church, an exception will be made. The names of the Advisory Team members and meeting dates and times must be submitted to 23 Project before December 15.
  • Provide 23 Project access to meeting minutes.
  • Submit a brief, Core Clarity plan for your church; a 3 year picture and 1 year plan.
