Planting Partner Profile

23 Project partners with planters and pastors for the advancement of the gospel. God has entrusted us with resources to steward so we want to steward them well.

We have communicated the Type of Churches we support. This profile communicates the kind of partner we are seeking.

When we assess church planters for partnership, we are looking for the following…

Firm Priorities

We want to partner with planters who (by God’s grace) fight to keep their priorities firmly in the proper order. We want to partner with men who follow Jesus, prioritize their family, and lead the church entrusted to them.

Faithful Potential

We want to see faithfulness demonstrated in their preparation for the ministry to which they have been called. Planters need to have compelling vision, a clear strategy, and a history of getting things done. The faithful potential of a leader is a vital part of our profile.

Financially Prepared

We realize that no pastor is omni competent. Some men will be far more gifted in preaching Numbers than in presenting numbers in a spreadsheet. However, our partners will have a good working knowledge of their financial picture and be able to communicate it. Does he understand his budget? Does he know what he should be paid and why? We want our partners to be comfortable and competent when speaking about finances.

Fruitful Possibilities

We want to see and be a part of fruitful possibilities for the advancement of the gospel. Our partners are humble about what they can do and hopeful about what God will do. We want to see holy ambition, prayerful dependence, and a zealous fire for the glory of Jesus.
