Westrock Church exists to lead people to live all of life all for Jesus.

The Westgate area of Phoenix is one of the fastest growing parts of the West Valley, marked by a vibrant mix of entertainment, shopping, restaurants, and sports culture. It attracts young families, professionals, and many Gen Z and Millennial residents who live in the surrounding neighborhoods and apartments. Spiritually, the area is largely dechurched and unchurched. Many people have some church background, often Catholic or Pentecostal, but have drifted away or never meaningfully connected to a church community. At the same time, there is a noticeable hunger for meaning, authentic community, and stability, especially among young couples raising children. This is the context Westrock longs to step into: a fast paced, highly social environment where people are searching for something deeper to build their lives on. Westrock believes God has placed them at the heart of this expansion for a exists to lead people to live all of life all for Jesus.

The name Westrock reflects both geography and theology. Throughout Scripture, east often symbolizes exile and separation from God, while west represents God’s pursuit of His people, calling them to return, be restored, and experience life with Him. Westrock Church is planted in the West Valley with that very hope: to help people return to God, not just physically, but spiritually. And at the center of it all is Jesus, the Rock on whom everything is built.purpose. With Westgate at the center of this growth, the church is praying for a movement of God in the West Valley; one where the power of the gospel transforms unbelievers, believers are equipped to lead, authentic community is formed, and generations are built on Jesus.
