Fellow Citizens’ vision is clear: “Denver needs more churches that proclaim the good news of Jesus, upholds the historic Christian faith, and seeks the renewal of the city through the love and grace of God. By planting Fellow Citizens Church in the heart of urban Denver, we have an opportunity to create a central gathering of public faith that heralds the gospel throughout the whole city.”

The city of Denver offers promises of freedom, adventure, and a fresh start. Yet beneath its outward beauty and vitality, there is a deep spiritual hunger. Shaped by thin spirituality and fierce independence, many in the city are searching for something more. Fellow Citizens Church exists to share the powerful, transformative, and exhilarating story of Jesus. They believe the solution is more healthy churches committed to heralding the gospel, following Jesus, and blessing the city.

Fellow Citizens draws inspiration for its name from Ephesians 2:19: “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
